Filmed on location during Nate Staniforth’s 2006-2007 tour of the United States, “Magician” is a documentary that follows one of the nation’s up-and-coming magicians as he performs his unique brand of magic (think more like charismatic Jamie Oliver and less like creepy David Blaine) in venues ranging from packed theaters to empty parking lots.  This is magic stripped of all its traditional hype and pretense – pure and direct.

I served as co-producer on this documentary, primarily working on the project’s conceptualization, producing the featured live performance (which included having to sell enough tickets to fill the 725-seat theater to capacity), hiring the crew and contributing to the post production process.
